The Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) is organising a Brazil Day, which will take place in Bonn on 12 and 13 March. It is intended as a networking opportunity for scientists and experts working in Germany who are interested in cooperation with Braziil, and also aims to provide ideas for future cooperation with Brazil. The event will be held in German.

The event will include:

• Get-togethers in four specialist working groups (life sciences, geosciences and marine research, engineering sciences, humanities and social sciences)
• A competition for junior scientists to submit ideas for workshops in Brazil
• Talks and information booths by relevant funding and intermediary organisations
• Plenty of opportunities for informal networking
