The Science Policy Interface, an accompanying project to the Client II funding measure, is organising a side event to present CLIENT II projects at the 25th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC COP 25) in Madrid.

The side event entitled "Water management and flood risk reduction as adaptation strategies in Africa" will present the Client II funding measure and two projects in the topic area of adaptation to climate change. Dr. Yvonne Walz will report on the first results of the project "Implementation of climate-sensitive adaptation strategies to reduce the flood risk in the catchment area of the transboundary Mono River in Togo and Benin" (CLIMAFRI), and Mr. Sajjad Tabatabaei will present the project "Future technologies and services for adaptation to climate change in flood- and drought-prone settlement areas in Ghana" (RAIN). The event will be rounded off by the video produced by Client2works team about the Client II funding measure.

The side event will take place in Room 2 from 13:15 to 14:45 on Friday, 13 December 2019.
