The second part of the UN Biodiversity Conference will be held in Montreal, Canada, December 5-17, 2022.

The goal of this year's UN Biodiversity Conference is to agree to a new set of goals for nature over the next decade through the Convention on Biological Diversity post-2020 framework process.

The 15th Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity (COP 15 CBD) will be held in two parts. The first part of the conference has already been hosted virtually by China from 11 to 15 October 2021. The second part will now take place in the form of face-to-face meetings in Montreal, Canada.
