The 4th UN World Data Forum will take place in Hangzhou, China from 24 to 27 April 2023. The Forum aims to spur data innovation, strengthen partnerships, mobilise financing and political support for data and create a pathway for better data for a sustainable development.

This year’s focal areas will be: “Innovation and Partnership for Better and Inclusive Data”, “Maximizing Data Usage for Better Decision Making”, “Strengthen Trust and Ethics in Data” and “Emerging Trends and Partnerships for the Development of Data Eco Systems”.

The forum is held by the Chinese National Bureau of Statistics with support of the UN-department of Statistics.
