ReKKS at the 2nd International Forum “Dialogue of Young Scientists: Science Talks”

The CLIENT II project ReKKS was represented at the second International Forum "Dialogue of Young Scientists: Science Talks" organized by the National Agricultural University of Kazakhstan.

The Kazakh National Agrarian University hosted its second International Forum "Dialogue of Young Scientists: Science Talks" on June 10th 2020 in Almaty. Due to Covid-19, this year's conference was held online. Young researchers and scientists from 20 countries participated to exchange information and present results on their current research. The purpose of the Forum is to combine efforts and develop creative activity of young scientists to solve modern science problems and practice. As part of the scientific meeting, the Forum will consider smart digital solutions that increase labour productivity and give sustainable development to the agricultural industry. The digitalization of agriculture allows developing and implementing new agricultural technologies for sustainable and humus-accumulating land management, increasing and more stable crop yields and animal productivity, as well as a generally better adaptation of agricultural production to climate change.

Moritz Koza, a PhD student participating in the ReKKS project, joined the discussion and presented a talk with the title: "Effects of land-use transformation on wind erosion in the dry steppes of Kazakhstan".
