Interactive online event: Circular Economy in the context of European research and innovation funding

Circular Economy is a central concept for the sustainable transformation of the European economy and has a high priority in the European Green Deal. The topic concerns various industrial sectors, such as production, but also various areas of life, such as tourism.

Due to the high relevance of the topic, the national contact point Bioeconomy and Environment (B&U), the contact point Digital and Industrial Technologies (DIT) and the contact point Climate, Energy, Mobility (KEM) invite you to a compact overview of the topic area of the Circular Economy. In the interactive online event, various stakeholder groups and contact points will provide an introduction of the topic in Europe, in particular European research and innovation funding, in the context of Circular Economy.

Interested parties will be able to learn about the extensive range of consulting services on 23rd November 2022 from 9.00 a.m.-02.30 p.m and get the chance to network with experienced applicants through interactive project presentations and best practice examples. Other focuses of the event are presentations of important European initiatives, current calls for proposals of ERA-MIN3 and the national and European research funding. Furthermore a speaker of the EU-commission will introduce the new EU-initiative "Circular Cities and Regions" (CCRI).

You will have to opportunity to learn from successful projects, ask questions and network with different stakeholders from German research- and innovation funding community in several parallel sessions.
