On 18-19 September 2023, the United Nations High-Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development (HLPF) will convene in New York City, USA.

Under the auspices of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), this will be the 2nd time the HLPF has met since the adoption of the 2030 Agenda. Also known as the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Summit, the achievement of the agenda’s goals will be comprehensively reviewed during the meeting. New policy guidelines will also be adopted to effectively advance the sustainable transformation. As a result of the summit, a political declaration of intent will be published which serves as a foundation for the UNFCCC COP 28 in November 2023.
