CLIENT II regional video Africa in FONA newsletter

The CLIENT II regional video Africa provides insights into two of the 81 projects within the framework of the BMBF funding programme. The 4th part of the video series is now also featured in the current issue of the BMBF’s FONA newsletter.

CLIENT II is one of the major international funding programmes of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) with 81 projects in 32 countries. The 5-part video series on the partnership regions provides some insights into the project work. The videos are available here and on the CLIENT II YouTube channel.

The CLIENT II projects INFRACOST and PROCEED are specifically highlighted in the video. INFRACOST deals with the creation of a resilient transport infrastructure using sustainable materials in Ghana. Further information on INFRACOST can be found on the project page. In the PROCEED project, researchers in Namibia establish 'mini-grids', i.e. decentralised power grids that function independently of the public grid. For more information, visit the PROCEED project page.

You can find more information on the contribution on the FONA website (in German).
