With the project kick-off on 11th of March 2019 at the Tongji University in Shanghai, China the start signal for a joint international project work was given. Apart from German and Chinese project partners representatives of the Chinese Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST), the Projektträger Karlsruhe (PTKA), the German Consulate General in Shanghai as well as the project office "Clean Water" of the German-Chinese research and innovation programme "Clean Water" of MOST and BMBF were present.
