CAMaRSEC project launch

The CLIENT II project CAMaRSEC was officially launched on 10 October with a kick-off conference and the inauguration of the local project office in Hanoi.

The German-Vietnamese CLIENT II project on energy and resource transformation in Vietnamese construction ("CAMaRSEC") was officially launched on 10 October. The kick-off conference took place in Hanoi, with the participation of all project partners and representatives of the local project office.

CAMaRSEC is set to establish research facilities in Hanoi that will enable close cooperation between the German and Vietnamese partners, and lay the foundations for joint building physics materials research in the area. This research aims to support the implementation of sustainable building standards, and to allow manufacturers to optimise their building materials and systems for the demanding tropical climate, as well as to develop new products.

The project is being coordinated and managed by Dr. Dirk Schwede from the University of Stuttgart.
